Anniversary Sandstone Narrows is a natural formation formed by flash floods and is approximately 30 miles outside of Las Vegas about a mile of Lake Mead Drive. It is approximately a mile off Lake Mead Drive on an unimproved dirt road. It is now possible to drive all the way down into the gorge and take a very short walk to the Cathedral Gorge.

This are is rich in gems and portions of this area is being mined commercially for gems.

The gorge is not well marked, but is located 36° 13' 15.35” and 114° 42' 07.65”.

Unfortunately as of late June 2015 the trail is no longer accessible all the way to the canyon. The top end of the trail is blocked by a impassible barrier gate courtesy of a private mining company. There is a sign indicating that to access the narrows you can contact the BLM. If you happen to be on Northshore road, it is still a nice little diversion with a beautiful view of the valley from the top. I've marked it as easy since you can't go all the way up. There is a little loose gravel and sand crossing a wash near the start, but the rest is hard-packed mining roads.
