Not technical but there is very little leveled walking, most of the time climbing up the steps or stones or scree. So some people may find it as a difficult trail.
Killer to the knees on the way down (would suggest going with two cars and leave one up at jebel jais, so you dont need to go down).
We did a detour (waypoint 5 to waypoint 14) by following green arrows sprayed on rocks, those lead to the mountain village. It made the hike more adventurous. Found some cool man made steps. Note: there was no trail after we reached the village. So we had to do some light rock climbing to get back on track.
If you want to follow the original trail just stick to official signs and red markings.
We came back following original official trail. Therefore if you using this map, and not willing to take any detours, just keep on follwing the line that goes to right. You will always see red signposts every half kilometer.
From Waypoint 19 to waypoint 20 you will have to scramble up following some washed out path-something to be careful about-many loose rocks. But that is the last tough part before you reach the top plateau with a nice stone bench to rest.
